BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN PHYSICAL THERAPY
La Consolacion University Philippines (LCUP) proudly offers the Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy (BSPT) program, established in 1994 to train future experts in health care and rehabilitation. For over two decades, the program has maintained a strong tradition of academic excellence and clinical competence.
The BSPT program is managed by the Dean of the College of Allied Medical Professions (CAMP), with key academic and administrative support from the Program Head, Clinical Internship Coordinator, and dedicated faculty and staff. While the college maintains essential administrative operations, its primary focus remains on delivering quality, outcomes-based education.
Program Overview
The BSPT is a four-year, full-time program combining in-depth classroom instruction with hands-on clinical training. The curriculum is aligned with national and international standards, specifically:
- CHED Memorandum Order (CMO) No. 55, s. 2017 – Policies, Standards, and Guidelines for the BSPT program
- CHED CMO No. 46, s. 2012 – Outcomes-Based and Typology-Based Quality Assurance
- Manual of Regulations for Private Higher Education (MORPHE) In designing the curriculum, LCUP considered global benchmarks from the USA, Australia, Europe, and neighboring Asian countries to ensure that graduates are competitive and globally competent.

Our Commitment

Through quality education, community engagement, and research initiatives, we prepare future physical therapists to thrive in the ever-evolving health care landscape. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are eligible to take the Philippine Physical Therapy Licensure Examination. They are well-equipped to pursue careers in various settings, including hospitals, rehabilitation centers, wellness centers and clinics, community-based health programs, education, research, and leadership roles in healthcare—both locally and internationally.
