On top of commemorating its 86th Founding Anniversary, this year was even more special as the institution celebrated its 25 Silver Years as a University. As an annual tradition, a week-long full of activities honoring this dual milestone was launched from December 1 to 9, 2023.

Vargas, OSA, PhD expressed her greetings to all the participants through a Welcome Address followed by an Inspirational Message from the Superior General of the Augustinian Sisters of Our Lady of Consolation (ASOLC) Sr. Eden Gicana, OSA. The Vice President for Research, Publications, and Linkages, Dr. Mark Rey C. Santos, officially declared the opening of the ICIRI 5.0. At the same time, the LCUP Research Officer, Ms. Mariefe B. Cruz, facilitated the virtual stage as the conference host.

Santos, partook in the 15th Asian Conference on Education (ACE2023) held in partnership with the International Academic Forum (IAFOR), held on November 22-25, 2023 at the Toshi Center Hotel, Tokyo, Japan.
The Basic Education Department (BED) “Bravehearts” stood out in triumph as it took home numerous awards and trophies from the Malolos City Private Schools Association (MACIPRISA) Meet 2023 held on November 22-24, 2023, at the Centro Escolar Integrated School, City of Malolos, Bulacan.
The Office of the Vice President for Research, Publications, and Linkages (OVPRPL) hosted its second Institutional Research Colloquium for the year 2023, now going back on track with the first colloquium held on-site on November 21, 2023, at the St. Augustine Audio Visual Room, LCUP Main Campus.
Bringing together the Augustinian Youth as one, LCUP led the first two-day Augustinian Youth Vocation Jamboree (AYO Voc Jam) on its campus grounds, showcasing an array of spiritual formation activities in line with the teachings and ideals of St. Augustine on November 18 to 19, 2023 at the LCUP Main Campus.
The University, through the Mother Rita Barcelo Outreach Program (MRBOP), re-ignited its shared goal of promoting care for our common home with its partner organization BAN Toxics Inc. by renewing its Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on November 17, 2023, at the Agostino Hall, LCUP Main Campus.

The Office of the Vice President for Research, Publications, and Linkages Office (OVPRPL), together with the Office of the Vice President for Graduate Studies (OVPGS) organized the second Research Competency Enhancement Seminar for the academic year 2023-2024. LCUP GS students attended the seminar on October 14, 2023 at the Atis Hall, BarCIE International Center, LCUP Main Campus, City of Malolos, Bulacan and through simultaneous live broadcasts on LCUP Facebook and YouTube accounts.
In support of World Mental Health Day, LCUP, in collaboration with the Philippine Mental Health Association Inc. (PHMAI), lit the campus in blue on October 10, 2023, at the LCUP Main Campus.

The University through its College of International Tourism and Hospitality Management (CITHM) reforged its existing alliance with The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM) – Sri Lanka through a renewal of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on June 13, 2023, at the Agostino Hall, LCUP Main Campus, City of Malolos, Bulacan. The nature of partnership, which is to continuously embark on research capacity-building program collaborations remains intact, moreover, both institutions aim for more opportunities for academic internationalization and cultural exposure.
Preparing its Medicine students who will soon take the Physician Licensure Examination (PLE), the College of Medicine (COM) hosted “PLE Real Talk,” on June 9, 2023, at the College of Medicine Building. La Consolacion University Philippines officially declared a countdown of 85 days to its 85th Founding Anniversary Celebration, commencing from September 9, 2022 to December 4, 2022, which signifies its high hopes and anticipation for the said momentous event. The university, formerly known as the Colegio De Nuestra Señora Del Carmen, Regina Carmeli College, and University of Regina Carmeli, was the first Catholic institution established in the Province of Bulacan way back in 1937. From a donated property, LCUP expands its programs and course offerings and its facilities and services to the community. La Consolacion University Philippines is presently known to cater Basic Education to Graduate School enrollees and accommodates students in its two campuses - Barasoain and Catmon.

In line with its mission to continue providing health services to its community at the time of the pandemic, La Consolacion University Philippines (LCUP), through its Student Affairs and Services - Health Services Unit (SAS-HSU), in collaboration with the Marketing and Promotions Office, provided discussions on health and wellness amid CoViD-19 through a series of webinars dubbed "The Doctor is In" via Facebook and YouTube live broadcasts.
The La Consolacion University Philippines (LCUP) has once again proven its dedication to enhancing the quality of higher education through research as it hosted the 2nd LCUP-GE&RA International Web Conference in collaboration with its India-based non-government organization partner Globus Education and Research Association (GE&RA). The conference, with its theme "Internationalization and Extension of Educational Institutions Through Innovative and Emancipatory Researches Amidst the Current Challenges of Globalization and Technological Divide," was held on April 29 and 30, 2022, via Facebook live, YouTube live, StreamYard, and Google Meet. The said research conference was spearheaded to get together and open doors for potential futuristic approaches that will play a significant role in synchronizing the enhancement of the quality of higher education with the emerging technology. The global pandemic's current situation, which caused the world to rely more on the internet and other online modalities, fueled the said objective of the conference.
The University showed beyond doubt its world-class wit and talent as its student from the College of International Tourism and Hospitality Management (CITHM) Patricia Belle Jacinto, hailed as the champion of the recently concluded 6th AUAP Student English Speech Competition on April 27-28, 2022, via Zoom. To select the students who will compete, the University organized an institutional Virtual English Speech Competition joined by students from different colleges. Three students were selected to compete, including Jacinto, Arranza, and Erica Faith Gagwis from the CITHM.
When the third month of the year approached the liturgical calendar, the University held an array of spiritual activities in observance of the Lenten Season, which started on March 2 to April 14, 2022. On March 1, a Holy Mass and the Rite of Sunog Sala or Shrove Tuesday was conducted. In preparation for the Ash Wednesday, palm leaves from the previous Lent, which were brought to the campus by some personnel, were burned to ashes and blessed during the said ceremony. The following day, March 2, the Rite of Imposition of Ashes or Ash Wednesday occurred. The usual smearing of ashes on the forehead was slightly adjusted to the sprinkling of ashes on the top of the head due to the restrictions of COVID-19. Both ceremonies were initiated by Rev. Fr. Bong Sabangan and were participated by reporting LCUP personnel.
The University, through its Basic Education Department, in coordination with the Integral Evangelization Program Office and the Crisis Management Committee, held a face-to-face First Confession and First Communion ceremonies for both Grade 3 and Grade 4 students on March 19 and March 25, 2022, respectively at Our Lady of Consolation Chapel, La Consolacion University Philippines - Catmon Campus. Since the global pandemic struck in the year 2020, culminating activities for students have also halted due to the learning adjustments implemented by the academic industry. With the full cooperation of parents and BED teachers, the said activity was conducted after two years but with strict adherence to the University's COVID-19 prevention, mitigation, and control protocols. Forty-two grade 3 and 4 pupils participated and experienced their first confession and communion.

EARTH (Care for the Lives in the Environment And restore, coNserve resources of the EARTH) project, the University, through the initiatives of the Mother Rita Barcelo Outreach Program (MRBOP) Unit, joined in the celebration of the World Water Day, March 22, 2022, at the La Consolacion University Philippines – Catmon Campus. In collaboration with the Basic Education Department, College of Alternative Education, Graduate Studies Department, Alumni Affairs Office, and University Building Maintenance Services Office, the activity was organized, and the University was able to acquire donations that funded the program.
