BACHELOR OF ARTS IN PSYCHOLOGY

Psychology as both a discipline and professional practice, contributes to national development through basic and applied research, as well as interventions designed to solve problems and promote optimal development and functioning at the individual, family, group, organizational, community, and national levels. The program also provides foundational training for careers in research, teaching, and the practice of psychology. The four-year undergraduate program prepares graduates for careers in teaching, research, counseling, and human resources and provides a foundation for further studies in medicine, guidance and counseling, human resource development, and law. Furthermore, LCUP Psychology graduates manifest Filipino Catholic Augustinian- Marian culture of commitment to charity, action,compassion and bias towards the service of the church, to the poor and the promotion of the thrusts of Transformative Education
