Bacolor, Pampanga — La Consolacion University Philippines (LCUP) has been recognized as one of the world’s top institutions for Ethics and Integrity, securing 42nd place in the prestigious World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) 2025. This global milestone was formally announced during “Luminescence 2025,” an awards ceremony organized by the Commission on Higher Education – Regional Office III (CHED RO-III) on July 17, 2025 at Nuan Farm and Resort, Bacolor, Pampanga.

The WURI rankings spotlight innovative universities that make real-world impact through bold, future-oriented approaches. LCUP’s placement in the Ethics and Integrity category underscores the university’s enduring commitment to moral leadership, transparent governance, and socially responsible education principles deeply rooted in its Augustinian identity and mission.

Representing LCUP at the event were Dr. Ma. Cristina Zulueta, Dean of the College of Medicine, and Sr. Niceta M. Vargas, OSA, University President, who received the award. “Luminescence 2025” gathered top-performing HEIs from Region III, celebrating their shared pursuit of excellence and innovation across various WURI categories. The event also reflected the region’s growing reputation as a hub for transformative, values-based education.
