Significance and purpose radiated as the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office (CHEDRO-3) lauded the higher education institutions (HEIs) in Central Luzon recognized in the World University Ranking for Innovation (WURI) 2025. The event ‘Luminescence 26: Glowing with Excellence’, earlier today, July 17, at Nuan Farm and Resort, Bacolor, Pampanga, was attended by the Presidents and officials of the 26 higher education institutions.

Dr. Lora L. Yusi, Director IV, expressed her commendation to the 26 HEIs for transcending into greater heights and for their aspirations to be purposeful to the community. She also gave her gratitude to the pioneering schools for internationalization who have supported and mentored other institutions on improving their operations and reaching global excellence.

A total of 15 HEIs have ranked the WURI Top 400 Global Rankings, proving that Central Luzon is a hub for global excellence and innovation. In addition, a total of 26 HEIs were recognized in different categories of innovation, showcasing that Central Luzon HEIs are champions of holistic development and purposeful innovations.

CHEDRO-3 applauds the globally-recognized institutions and it will continue to support the aspirations of each institution toward sustainability, purpose-driven service, and internationalization. Keep shining, Region III!
